- Choose books with characters that would be good role models.
- Stories about people that overcame mistakes and failures.
- Books with good morals.
- Books that show Godly values – purity, prayer, Godly marriages, repentance, forgiveness, etc.
- Books that show either obvious right or wrong.
- Books that transmit the same value as are found in the Bible.
- Make sure that the stories and illustrations present different issues in positive ways.
